Mr Richard Heasley offers comprehensive medico-legal services as an independent expert witness in cases involving shoulder and upper limb injuries. With extensive clinical and surgical experience, he provides objective, evidence-based reports for use in personal injury, clinical negligence, and occupational health claims.

Credentials & Experience

  • Over 15 years of clinical experience in shoulder and upper limb surgery

  • Fellowship-trained in arthroscopic and reconstructive procedures

  • Member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society (BESS), Royal College of Surgeons of England, British Orthopaedic Association (BOA) and British Medical Association (BMA).

  • Richard manages a busy fracture clinic as part of his NHS practice, where he provides care for patients with bone, joint and soft tissue injuries, including fractures and dislocations. He also participates in the on-call rota for the Trauma Unit, responding to urgent cases. His commitment to high-quality care reflects his dedication to improving patient outcomes in trauma and orthopaedics.
